Man hurls rats into a McDonald’s and yells, “fuck Israel”

A man entered a central England McDonald’s and scattered live rodents on the floor that had been dyed in the colours of the Palestinian flag.

Due to growing antisemitism in Britain following Israel’s heavy bombardment of Gaza and ground offensive in retaliation for a Palestinian Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, the incident is being looked into. In a social media video, the man is seen tipping rodents on the ground in front of shocked patrons at the Birmingham McDonald’s after bringing in a box full of them, some of which were dyed red and green.

You can hear him yelling, “Fuck Israel.” The incident is being investigated by West Midlands Police and is being considered a public nuisance offence. McDonald’s UK has cleaned the restaurant and is aware of the incident. Following the announcement two weeks ago that McDonald’s Israel had provided thousands of free meals to Israeli military personnel, some Muslim-owned franchises decided to break their ties to the Israeli company. Prominent protests in favour of the Palestinians have also taken place in London and other cities, demanding an end to Israel’s siege of the enclave and a ceasefire in Gaza.
