Dissenting bishops are against blessing prayers for same-sex couples.

11 dissenting bishops have opposed the Church of England’s (CofE) push for prayers of blessing for same-sex couples in an effort to make the church more inclusive.

In advance of the Synod meeting scheduled for November 13–15, the members of the Church of England General Synod have been given documents regarding the application of the Prayers of Love and Faith. Similar conditions exist in Wales, where the progressive Church has shifted from liberal to progressive goals, distancing itself from orthodox opinions and fostering the growth of certain evangelicals under the strict progressive regime.

The emergence of orthodox Anglican entities has also given those in the progressive Church in Wales more power. Nonetheless, there are numerous traits that evangelicals in the two churches have in common, such as the lack of opposition in the C of E. Clergy are not as accessible to the public as they may think because they are frequently the last to learn about these issues due to their jobs.

One of the main reasons for this silence is the prevalence of LGBTQ myths, such as those about gay suicidality, innate sexual orientation, and detrimental change-allowing therapies. The propaganda campaign on this front has been effective, and Evangelical parents may begin to see the light if they personally know someone in the LGBTQ community. Many LGBTQ people experience the anguish, sorrow, and hopelessness of a cherished child whose interests never change, leaving them burdened with unwelcome, unwanted emotions.

It is possible that the progressives in both churches are not entirely incorrect, but how can anyone continue to adhere to Jesus’ teachings when faced with actual suffering?
