This week, snow is expected in some parts of the UK, according to the Met Office.
Snow showers are predicted to occur on the North Sea coast, which includes Scotland and the northeast of England, starting on Wednesday and continuing through the weekend. Though temperatures are predicted to drop as low as -5C in rural eastern England and as low as -8C (17.6F) in sheltered hills and glens in Scotland, snow may not necessarily fall on the ground throughout the UK starting on Tuesday.
Towards the end of the week, Hampshire and other southern-eastern regions of the UK could see some snowfall, but it might also stay dry. There were predicted to be rain showers in the northeast and north on Monday night, followed by sunny spells for most of Tuesday. With wintry showers in the UK’s north and some rain in the south, the weather is predicted to become increasingly erratic. Overnight last weekend, some parts of the nation saw below-freezing temperatures.
