Glastonbury has announced a two-week delay in ticket sales as a result of some music fans experiencing registration difficulties.
Only a few hours before the first round of festival tickets were scheduled to go on sale in 2024, the announcement was made. It was anticipated that general admission tickets would go on sale on Sunday morning. Purchases of tickets for general admission will now be made on Sunday, November 19, and for tickets plus coach, on Thursday, November 16. According to Glastonbury, the delay was necessary to make sure that all those wishing to purchase tickets are registered and qualified to do so.
The normal price of £355 (plus a £5 booking fee) for the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset is £20 more than this year’s event. Tickets are non-transferable. There will be an extra charge for the coach transfer. The lineup for next year’s musical extravaganza has not yet been revealed, but it will take place from June 26–30. Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses performed at this year’s Pyramid Stage, and Sir Elton John headlined the last day. Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, and Fatboy Slim were among the other well-known names.
