The non-profit Genesis 123 Foundation, which seeks to strengthen ties between Christians and Jews as well as between Christians and Israel, has been inspiring and motivating in the wake of the horrific attack on Israel by Islamist terrorists from Hamas.
Christians all over the world have generously donated, briefed, and prayed for the foundation. “Sherry,” one of the speakers, curtly said, “It is a genocide,” in response to a plea for humanitarian aid. Liberate Palestine. She maintained that, rather than increasing by hundreds of percent, the number of Palestinian Arabs would have decreased if there had been a genocide, compared to 1948 or 1967.
The speaker questioned how the devastation of Israel and the murder of Jews are part of Hamas’ charter and practises. She brought up the fact that dozens of Jewish infants had been killed, set ablaze, and had their heads chopped off simply for being Jewish. At a music festival, almost 300 young people were shot dead in cold blood simply for being Jewish. Just because they were Jewish, parents were killed in front of their kids, and kids were killed in front of their parents. Due to their Jewish heritage, expectant mothers had their wombs cut open, leaving the mother and unborn children to perish.
The speaker made the case that the goals of Hamas terrorists are the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews, not a two-state solution in which a Palestinian state coexists peacefully with Israel. Israel is not doing anything that falls under this definition of genocide. Since the Holocaust—a real genocide, in case you missed it—there have never been so many Jews killed in a single day.
The speaker attacked “Sherry,” saying that her facts are incorrect and that she appears to harbour animosity towards Jews, for shattering her antisemitic bubble with the uncomfortable truth. She maintained that she ought to be ashamed of her ignorance and that her hatred of Jews is profound and blind.
In response, “Sherry” declared that she was pro-life and that the number of deaths in Gaza should not be a source of shame. She does not support what Hamas did, but innocent children and civilians are losing their lives. She thinks that areas in need are not receiving any aid, fresh water, or medical supplies. To kill innocent people who are not involved in a conflict is cruel and genocide.
The speaker questioned “Sherry’s” pro-life stance and her lack of support for Hamas, as well as whether or not she is simply ignorant or hateful. They maintained that Hamas carried instructions on how to cause the greatest amount of suffering and death in the most heinous ways possible while planning a massacre of civilians that included rape, burning alive, beheading, and kidnapping. They also expressed how disgusted they are by people who support Hamas’s charter, which calls for the murder and destruction of Jews and the Jewish state.
